I had the chicken Alfredo with broccoli. We also ordered a pizza to go for later. Service was excellent. Was not used to the pizza with the meat like they did it though. It wasn't bad.
I ordered the chicken saltimbocca! OMG! This was soooo good!!! The service was great. Food came out fast. The place was light and airy. Definitely check this place out!
We were staying at nearby Spacious Skies Shenandoah Views in our trailer when we decided to try out Il Vesuvio after quite a few high recommendations. We were sure glad we did! We ordered the pizza with half pepperoni (kinda interesting that the "half" option was only offered with pepperoni but not a big deal; I understand custom orders can get a bit tricky) and a side of wings. Both were super tasty and definitely recommended. It's obvious the employees work very hard to keep their patrons happy from the excellent food to very friendly and accommodating service. When not waiting on their patrons, they're running around tidying up and keeping themselves busy. Also happy to strike up conversations on what to do around Luray and other places to visit.
An overall great experience, we'll also highly recommend Il Vesuvio as well!
Pizza, pasta, and calzone was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem in Luray. Waiter was friendly, patient, and attentive. Prices were fantastic! The marinara sauce alone was worth coming back for.
While visiting from out of state to check out the Caverns, we stopped in for dinner and was not disappointed. The meatball sub & pizza were delicious. Our waitress (Chasidy) was very helpful and nice. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely return!

Excellent Margarita Pizza, excellent garlic knots. Great prices, highly recommend. A true test of a pizza maker is how they make the humble margarita pizza - they do a fabulous job. Thin crust, crispy where it needs to be, flavorful sauce and just the right amount of mozzarella and fresh basil.
Aside from the garlic knots leaking on my pants from the box when I picked up the food and service was great! price and size was great for a small pizza!
First time eating here today and we had a great experience. Great portions for the price and even bettereverything was absolutely delicious! We tried the garlic knots, split a calzone and ended lunch with a cannoli each. 10/10 would recommend.

Stopped here a couple years ago, but wanted to update my review to include details that may help when choosing a place to eat.
We Stopped in Luray and couldn't figure out where to eat, so we asked the lady at the front desk of the hotel we were staying at, and she highly recommended this restaurant.
We didn't know what to expect when we walked in, the outside looked a little rundown and dated. The service was fantastic and they had some of the best chips I've ever had, definitely a hidden gem when traveling through and a must stop. The employees were very helpful and nice. I was looking for something extra extra spicy and the cooks there went above and beyond trying to make me the spicest sauce they could. Seen them a couple of times looking out from back in the kitchen to see if it was spicy enough lol. They did amazing with the ingredients they had readily available.
The food was so delicious and we look forward to eating here again when ever life brings us back through town.

Fun place to eat after lurray caverns
I had my post-engagement dinner with my now fiancé and families at this restaurant. The food was delicious and in good portions. The staff was extremely friendly and checked on us frequently. They even helped us decorate the table and helped us keep a cake we brought cold! We sat in their outdoor area and it was a great atmosphere and made the celebration such a good time! I had the meat pizza and it was absolutely delicious. If I lived closer I would absolutely frequent this place!

We went to this restaurant for dinner last night and ended up splitting an antipasto and a small pizza called The Works. Both were tasty. A gentleman next to us had the Garlic Knots and he was overwhelmed by the size of the portion, so he forced us to try them, so we each had one and they too were good tasting. The menu is a pretty good size, so there are several good options. Our server Chasidy was nice and she did a good job.
Overall, we were happy with our decision to go here.

The server is new so I wont be so hard on her, but she did drop my drink. Thank goodness it was a plastic bottle and didnt break. The food was pretty good, I wouldnt get the garlic knots again they have too much butter on them, and the garlic and Parmesan wings. It felt a little expensive for what we got though.

We went visiting the cave a mile down the road, so we needed something fast before io a 3 hour drive back home.
Il Vesuvio popped out of nowhere just like in a Sopranos movie so I liked the name reviews were good so we decided to give it a try.
The parking and entrance can be a bit confusing and you wonder but getting inside the feel was more like a big family that everybody knows everyone and that was a good feeling.
Friendly staff, and when asked what they suggest they recommended the Vesuvio dish and garlic knots.The moment I took the first bite I knew this is an original trattoria dish, sure enough the chef is a real Italian and this was the best Italian dish I had outside Italy.
Give it a try and you wont be disappointed, but if you expect fancy place and treatment this is not for you. Order the food to go!

We stop here every time we visit Luray Caverns. Its our favorite restaurant in Luray. The pizza is delicious. The appetizers are delicious (our favorite is the cheese garlic bread!) Service is always good too. If youre in the area or visit Luray, we highly recommend Il Vesuvio for lunch or dinner!

Genarros, now il vesuvio, is our favorite place in Luray to eat on our annual fishing trip on the Shenandoah. Great food great service and good prices. Get the garlic knots!

Fantastic spot in Luray. Staff was fantastic and pizza was great. Classic Neapolitan style with a great fluffy crust. The margherita was our favorite. Feddy was a pleasure and we wish her so much luck this fall.

My family and I were on vacation from Delaware and found this place using goggle maps. The food and service was outstanding. So much so that we ate there todays in a row. We had pepperoni pizza , Buffalo wings and garlic knots. Food came out hot fast and our waitress was was great.

I'm visiting my family from Venice California where we have some of the finest restaurants in the world and I would put their food up against any of them. There's a laid back vibe of a family run business that was just refreshing and comfortable. Can't praise this place enough. I wish we where lucky enough to have a gem like this back home. 100% more than satisfied.

Currently visiting the area, and for our first evening we wanted a relaxing dining experience close to our cabin. We found the charming Il Vesuvio on Google and made our way over, easily finding the restaurant and plentiful parking. Walking inside we were promptly greeted and given menus, then we made our way to the outside covered seating, where we were served by the pleasant and informative, Emily. She made a lot of good suggestions and knew exactly what she was talking about, providing us with her choice of starter, as we were unsure what to choose from with the large selection on the menu. The house chips are a simple yet tasty starter which isn't too heavy, also taking Emily's suggestion of keeping the sauce on the side to keep the chips from getting soggy. We knew what we wanted for the main course, the lasagna and veggie calzone, both delicious and resulted in clean plates. For dessert we both wanted the tiramisu, which unfortunately wasn't available due to being extremely popular, but once again we were pointed in the right direction. I opted for the carrot cake, a new menu addition and a personal favorite, which didn't disappoint, I would definitely recommend it.
To summarize, the service was fast, the place had a comfortable and friendly feel, and the food was great and had a reasonable price. If you are visiting or passing through, I would recommend stopping by and trying for yourself.

FANTASTIC food. We were staying next door and decided to get takeout since we had COVID last week and were isolating as much as possible. Even though it was VERY busy, the food was ready by the time we checked in and took our things to the room. We were hoping for passable, but the food was really delicious. We had the Luray salad and a large plain pizza and it was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The prices were great, too - we only paid a couple of dollars more than we did for 2 sandwiches at Subway (the only thing we could find for lunch). Friendly service.

best sirloin cheeseburger I've ever had. The restaurant is very simple and unpretentious. We had sirloin cheeseburger, calimari, steak and cheese sub. All were very good. Only small complaint is that they need to have CREAM or Half-n-Half for coffee (currently they only give you milk, which is not how I like coffee). Staff is attentive and pleasant.

It is a small restaurant with the seating available inside. Seeing the number of people it seemed it was the popular restaurant in the area.

When we entered the restaurant we were greeted as soon as we entered it. We were 2 people and we were seated soon.
We had to wait for 10 minutes before our server Hannah came with the menus.
After exploring the menus for the drink i ordered Crown Royal Whisky & Cola Cocktail and for food we ordered Zucchini Fries, Salmon & Small Vegetarian Pizza with Xtra Fresh Mozzarella.
Soon we got our drink which was amazing and good cocktail.
We had to wait for 5-10 minutes and we got the Zucchini Fries. Zucchini fries are the must try delicious fries. They were tasty, freshly made and hot.
Then we got our pizza and salmon.
Vegetarian Pizza was also amazing and delicious. It seemed like it was freshly made with vegetables and cheese. Loved the pizza.
Salmon was also delicious and it was perfectly cooked with all the spices and cooked well.

What a pleasant surprise right next to our motel. Service and food were excellent and will definitely be back if we come to the area again. We had the Chicken Parmigiana and Marsala, both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. You've got to try the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake it's devine, you can even pair you meal with local wines. My thanks to the chef for a truly memorable meal.

A yummy gem for a small town. Homemade pizza, plus the salad was really good, loved the excellent local red wine also. The rest of the food to others were having looked just as good Hannah my waitress was a sweetie also. Its a small indoor space but moves fast or worth the wait or just sit outside, plus they have takeout.

Came here after visiting Luray caverns and was really impressed with the margarita pizza here. Devon was an excellent host and I would highly recommend any tourists to this location. The garlic knots and pizza was fresh and piping hot too!
GiGi made our experience at Il Vesuvius extra special. Wonderful food, great company and her service was excellent. We were a large (loud at times) group and nothing phased her. The food and drinks just kept coming. The restaurant is conveniently located near the historic Mimslyn Inn in the quaint city of Luray with a scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mtns.
Food was fabulous, large portions for leftovers.
Hanna, our waitress was wonderful, friendly, and entertaining, who a great sense of humor.
It was karaoke night, and the DJ was fun and was exceptionally good, with a broad variety of music, and took requests.

Small "mom&pop" restaurant**totally worthy with Lovely outdoor seating also. Located in quiet street corner which also offer access to the old historic downtown.
My family and I were driving by on a recent trip and decided to stop. I am so glad that we did because this place is DELICIOUS! Their pizza is cooked perfectly and they have the best lemonade Ive ever had. My very picky daughter loved the spaghetti and meatballs. Worth every penny!
Obviously a local favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Pizza was better than any national chain. Easy in and out for tourists.

I had an excellent Vesuvio sub on a fresh Italian bun. If you are looking for a great Italian sub, this is it! Fresh Cap, salami, and ham with pepperoncinis, and mayo. I asked for light mayo and it was perfect. As I was there, I saw HUGE fresh handmade garlic knots and a beautiful fresh pepperoni pie brought out to a table. We are definitely going back!! Incidentally, the restaurant was packed full of happy diners. Highly recommend.
We had the friendliest and sweetest server. The homemade sauces were amazing! Its a laidback atmosphere, and we loved the small town feel. Definitely stop here for a great selection of yummy foods!

Was visiting Luray and Shenandoah and stopped by here for a late night bite, and I am so glad I did. The restaurant is smaller with if I recall a dozen or so tables but it gives a very homey atmosphere. We ordered sweet tea which was soo addicting and the appetizer we got was delicious. The way their tomatoes and olive oil (I think?) mixed together with the toasted bread made me fall in love and I DESPISE tomatoes. The entrees were awesomely MASSIVE and full of flavor. I hardly eat European food and the last time I had a calzone or baked ziti was out of a school cafeteria. Vesuvios made me realize what I was missing out on. The staff was extremely polite and kind and the place was very clean. Would absolutely recommend eating here if youre coming through Luray.

Great little pizza joint with friendly staff and local wines. Definitely recommend the lasagna. I was so hungry when I got here I forgot to take photos of the food. Regardless, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I just had an incredible meal. The salad was good, the pizza was the best weve had anywhere and the sub was amazing. Bri was our server and despite being very busy she did a great job and was attentive to us while apparently being the shift manager. She interacted with staff in a very positive way while greeting customers that came through the door. We also observed Hannah and GiGi working very hard as well. We did not catch the chefs name but they deserve a huge thank you for a delicious meal. Even though we live more than an hour away we will be back soon! Thanks to all!! This was a five star experience!!
The Luray Salad was out of this world!!! The service was excellent. Gigi was our server and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and served us quickly.
Garlic knots are amazing. Our server GiGi was awesome. Small, busy, but friendly and funny. My only criticism was our antipasto salad. It was iceberg, a couple sliced of tomato, a few slices of meat/cheese. That was it and a far cry from an antipasto.

Gigi at Il Vesuvio is a paragon of the food service profession. She was an ambassador to the Lurays presentation of Sicilian foods, bringing us plate after plate of crackling carbohydrate with good cheer. She attended to our every need, managing our multitudinous requests with grace. She managed not to chuckle as we loaded and stacked our to go containers six-high and wobbled out. A pleasure, Gigi: our lunch at Il Vesuvio will be long cherished.
Amazing. Everything was amazing. I had their shrimp scampi and fresh squeezed lemonade. My husband had their chicken Alfredo. We shared the fried dough balls with ice cream. Gigi is an amazing waitress
This is a little known gem of a restaurant in Luray. Whenever you are visiting this lovely town, make a point to stop by and have the garlic knots appetizer and don't skimp on the tiramisu!
We have been here multiple times and have enjoyed the food and service every time.
Gigi was very attentive and professional in spite of the large crowd on a Saturday night.
My far, this is the best pizza Ive ever had. And trust me, as a 300 pound balding old man, Ive had a slice or two in my life. If visiting Luray, you must give these nice folks a try.

Always delicious. Great crust, friendly service. Very accommodating! We asked to do half and half on a large pizza, with two different sauces. We didn't mind the sauces spilling into each other but they made cute little dividing borders. Buffalo chicken is a must to try.

We got the margarita pizza and a veggie calzone and it was delicious. But the pumpkin pie with pumpkin ice cream and raspberry cheesecake were even better! They are very short staffed so pacience is important but they're friendly and we really enjoyed our dinner.

We also tried the Il Vesuvio sub, the Italian wedding soup, garlic bread with mozzarella, french fries and house chips. Everything was delicious! The house chips were amazing! Our waitress Rebecca was super sweet and kind. Definitely recommend and will come back!

The service and food was above and beyond outstanding. The crew was wonderful and went above and beyond for them. I'll definitely be going back again, but at a reasonable time. Both the chicken piccata and the eggplant parmesan had a delicious sauce, which is very difficult to do in such a busy restaurant! The eggplant was cooked beautifully and was not overly fried. The pasta was cooked al dente. We each had enough leftover for a snack the next day. The servers were extremely friendly. The only two criticisms I have are that the ambience is kind of poor given the proximity to a busy street and lack of plants to shelter/spruce up the patio and that the bread served with the meal wasnt very appetizing. Both of those issues pale in comparison to everything else, which was marvelous.

Don't let the humble appearance fool you. This was best meal we had during our trip to Luray! Delicious salmon, ribs, mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. Try the tiramisu. It's the best we ever had!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

My husband and I were in town for th weekend and wanted pizza. We googled and found this gem!!! Great service, and great food. The house made chips were absolutely the best homemade chips I’ve ever had. We also had pizza, phenomenal and split a cannoli, also amazing. If we lived closer, this would be a weekly dinner for sure!!!!

Probably one of the best restaurants for the garlic knots. Absolutely amazing. Tried the meatball sub and it was also excellent. We love coming here while visiting Luray.
Finally made it here today for the first time. Rebecca was my server and she was friendly to those who came in while I was there. I ordered and expensive appetizer of Garlic Knots but they turned out to be a nice large portion. I ordered 12 crispy hot wings and they were a little over crispy but I prefer that vs soggy undercooked wings and I know cooking to crispy is not always easy. The Hot flavor was very good. Wings were expensive but that's to be expected with the ever increasing price of wings. 4 stars due to the overall high price for lunch but it was a good lunch for sure.

We stopped at this place after visiting the caverns. Its not too often you have good service and good food but this place did both. The crust was amazing and my wife and I literally ate the pizza in like 10 minutes. We talked to the owner who was from Italy and found out shes been working day and night because she cant hire anyone due to the federal unemployment that is still occurring in Virginia. Shes hopeful for the future though.

Just walking into il Vesuvio I could smell the garlic and I knew it was going to be delicious! Definitely recommend getting the garlic knots! They were to die for, I could probably just eat a whole meal of those alone!! The small pizza is a perfect size to split with two people. I had tried the hot chicken pizza which was Buffalo sauce, chicken and mozzarella and it was really good! Husband tried their works calzone
Luray has more than just the great outdoors! We found this hidden jem and absolutely loved the food and the service! This will definitely be a return to eatery when we return!! Keep up the great food and service guys!

This was a family owned business in the Historical part of Luray. The place was very clean. Our waitress/ Owner was Monica and she was amazing, efficient, and very polite. They were short on help like all small towns after this Covid but she was doing a great job. I was so happy to support this local small business. We ordered garlic knots to start and they were hot and perfect. I then ordered baked Ziti and my friend ordered the lasagna. Again the orders came out hot and delicious. I would definitely eat here again and refer my friends if we come back to this area.

Loved this little place nestled in the beautiful town of Luray. We ordered a pizza and a calzone. The pizza was good but was dry. The calzone was yummy. The calzone bread was so fresh and tasted so good that we couldnt resist ordering one more for take out.

Took over thirty minutes after we ordered. Maybe understaffed but they were busy. They got everything right and everything was good.
They were short staffed due to the whole COVID thing. So the wait was a bit long (35 minutes) but the cheese pizza and veggie calzone were very good. Servers seemed nice. Place was clean and nice. Id recommend it.

This is right across the street from the Mimslyn Inn, so very convenient if you're staying there. It has a nice, laid back family vibe, and the staff were so friendly. The food arrived quickly and was delicious!

Have eaten there often when visiting Luray. A "go-to" favorite for years. Recently brightly renovated, consistently good Italian food with generous portions, prompt, courteous wait staff and modest country prices. I often take friends there and have never been disappointed.

My fianc and I were in Luray from DC for a weekend. This place was around the corner from our B&B. The food was absolutely fantastic! The pasta and pizza hit the spot and were clearly made with very fresh ingredients. As an archaeologist who works in Pompeii and has spent significant time in Naples, I was happy to find out that the family who owns the restaurant is from Naples as well. We liked the food so much that we actually got dinner from them two nights in a row!! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful experience over Memorial Day Weekend while visiting Luray, VA. Our server, Federicka, was attentive to all our needs without being overbearing. She went above and beyond to provide us with efficient service from the time we sat down until we walked out of the door. To top it off, the food was absolutely delicious! A local woman recommended the garlic knots appetizer as we walked in and they were done to perfection! The chicken parm sub and The Work Pizza were to die for! 10/10 would recommend across the board!
This is a small family run business and you can see everyone is working really hard. We got pizza, subs, and fries. It was all delicious. Wed come back!

Pretty good, its a small place, everyone was socially distanced but Im still not eating in a restaurant so just did takeout. I got a large pepperoni and the calamari. The calamari was pretty good but wish the breading was less thick. The pizza was pretty good, had a homemade taste, not like the franchise taste which is so generic. Sauce was good, very cheesy, good crust. If Im ever back in the area Ill eat here again

Had the pleasure of stumbling onto this restaurant with 2 friends after a long day of motorcycle riding. 1st, food was excellent. I had the meat calzone, friends had steak and cheese sub and grilled chicken sub. Portions are generous and calzone was cooked to perfection. 2nd, and most important... our server Rene is exactly what most restaurants are missing these days. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the menu, engaging and very attentive without hovering. The owners of Il Vesuvio are fortunate to have her and I’ll be making this a regular stop on future trips to the area.

Quick easy affordable food. I had a Margherita pizza and it was made quite well. Kids were happy with nuggets and fries. It's not a place I'd rave about but good enough to pull 5 stars from me, especially due to the ample outdoor seating which is always a big bonus for me.

Went to luray caverns and had dinner afterwards. We absolutely LOVED the home made sauce and the dishes we had. Went back the next day for more. If we ever pass through that area again, it will definitely be a stop.

The good: Friendly service, good prices, and overall a good pizza. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating with COVID in mind, and the menu is surprisingly large. The mozzarella sticks were gooey and well-sized, and came out pretty quick. The pizza has a chewy (in a good way) crust and a "healthy" amount of toppings. We left full and happy
The not-so-good: Not much really. It's not a brick-oven pizza experience and not something I'm going to write home about coming from a big city, but for what it is it does it well.

Me and my wife are in town visiting staying at Hotel Laurance, right down the street. We stopped here twice on our trip and the food was great! We had the subs the first time, then had to try the pizza the next day! Did not disappoint. The staff is amazing and such a great family! Next time our life brings us to Luray we will be making a stop here.

The portion sizes are HUGE my wife and I loved the flavors of everything we ordered the staff is very nice and quick to get refills and whatnot the prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. As far as the feel of the place it's a very free and open it's definitely a must have if you are in the area
First, you can order online. Second, I highly recommend ordering ahead as this place can get very busy. Our online order was estimated to be about a 30-35 min wait before it was ready. I arrived to pick it up and the place was filled. The confirmation email after you order online will have a check number on it. Know your number so you can tell them to help speed things along. It was probably another 5min afterwards that I got my food. The workers were extremely nice even though they were extremely busy. We got a 12" margarita pizza and some mild wings. Both extremely good and would recommend. Just be warned that this place gets packed and you may have to wait if you don't order ahead.
My favorite pizza restaurant ever
Great, friendly service! Tight but cozy atmosphere! Gluten free pizza was AMAZING; crispy and held together enough to eat like normal pizza even. Caprese salad on the side was a nice addition. Dont think you can go wrong in this place, we cleaned our plates!

My wife and I were able to have Gennaro's provide catering for our wedding. We were married at Stoneyman Valley Ranch, approximately 15 minutes away from the restaurant. The food was fantastic! Our guests were greatly pleased with the garlic knots, manicotti, and chicken picatta, and they even made us a special batch of lumpia even though lumpia are not a menu item! We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend Gennaro's whenever you happen to be in Luray!

Had I not found this restaurant via Google and had just passed by it on the road, we never would have stopped there. It's basically an unassuming little stand alone mom and pop shop. The pizza was delicious. I personally don't usually care for pizza sauce; but their's was amaaaazing!... I would definitely go there again if we're ever traveling through Luray again.
Good food and lovely staff. Had dinner here with a friend and the waitress told us they now served breakfast, so we stopped in for breakfast the next morning, and it was just as delicious as dinner. Will definitely recommend and eat at again the next time I'm in Luray.

Very very good! We went to Luray Caverns and we wanted to eat lunch somewhere local. This place had some of the best reviews on Google and we decided to come here. We loved the quaint atmosphere, the friendly service, and awesome food! Soups are made-to-order (THAT IS AN AMAZING FEAT!!!) and the meatball subs and pizza were great! Highly recommend to all tourists!
Nice little find while in town wandering the caves. Food was great and plentiful. Wait staff was extremely friendly. I think we overwhelmed her with our party of 13. But they got our food right out. Would definitely recommend this small town diner.

My husband and I visited while on vacation for a quick getaway to Lurray Caverns. The food was amazing!!! Its clear that the food was freshly made. It was so flavorful! We will be back again before we return home. Also the service was way above par. The hostess Federicka was very pleasant and accommodating even during a busy flow of clientele. Got into town around 3:30 and decided to try this place out before we checked in to our hotel. We were starving and ready to eat. The waitress was great and took amazing care of us. The food came out fast and was delicious! The Luray salad was wonderful. Great little spot!

We were on a weekend getaway in Luray, and we were craving Italian food. And Il Vesuvio popped up on our Google search. And let me just say, WOW!!! The food was delicious and staff were incredibly nice. We had a pizza, (sauce on pizza was AMAZING) house chips, and Il Vesuvio sub. So fresh, so delicious ???? I HIGHLY recommend the house chips as an appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of everything. Can't wait for our next trip to Luray because we will stop in again.

My mother and I were in on a Saturday and was so amazed by how welcomed she made us feel and how great the food was, we came back the next day to see her and get some more great food. The only con was it looked like she was the only one running around trying to make everyone happy and to make her worse, her coworkers Brenda & Cindy decided to come out on the patio where we were eating and talk crap about Rebecca right in front of us while Rebecca was busting her butt. Super unprofessional and made us feel pretty uncomfortable! Great food and awesome service by Rebecca!
Stopped by after Luray Caverns visit. 5 min drive into Dwtn Luray. We are from Florida. We got lucky with this restaurant. Excellent real Italian food! Pepperoni Pizza was fabulous. Great sauce! Just the right amount of seasoning. Stromboli was delicious! Prices very reasonable. Staff(Fredrica) was kind and attentive. Staff wears masks and cleans tables appropriately. Highly recommend this place!!

His authentic Neopolitan cuisine is complemented by his wife's Caribbean dishes all served in very generous portions. The menu is extensive but not expensive.

Taste the difference:A display board in the restaurant says "There is a big difference between the big chains and independent pizzeria". This is truest in every sense.
The staff are friendly and were helpful in selecting the dishes. We had a vegetarian in our group. When we asked for suggestions, the waiter said that pretty much all dishes can be changed to be without meat. So vegetarians, you can be assured of a superb tasting and quality dishes here.
The pizza crust was thin and loaded with vegetables. The sauce is home made and has won accolades. The bread in cheesy garlic bread, was fresh and crunchy. They use home made bread. The owner was friendly and described each dish in detail.
If you are looking for a warm place with homely food then this is the place.
My wife and I came to the cabins for a romantic getaway for my birthday and decided to try this place for dinner the first night. Restaurant was very small and clean. The food we received was delicious. The pizza is very good and we are pizza snobs. We enjoyed them so much we decided to go back for lunch the next day. If we lived closer, this would be a regular place we would visit!
